I Thought I Saw a UFO

I was going through my UFOs this past weekend. Inspired once again to finish some of them, here are some of the projects I have going:

  • slippers from 'unknown fibre' yarn (no designated person yet although they are a ladies' size which would fit me :)
  • whippet hood (second one for one of my sister's dogs)
  • sock (for my 11 year-old - this sock has been to many baseball games and dentist appointments - I went full-force on it so there are only about 3 inches or so left before the toe begins!)
  • orange cardigan (I foolishly thought I would be able to finish it this summer for wearing in October, but it is really really really long and ain't happening)
  • grey kimono wrap (had a lot of trouble with the lace pattern so it's terribly flawed, but it's mohair-type yarn and would basically be garbage if I tried to frog it, so I'm going to finish it and accept its flaws)
  • hoodie cardigan (still love it, still gorgeous - trying to figure out why I made the sleeves so short and can only assume I figured I would run out of yarn, also a lace pattern so requires deep thought)
  • half-crocheted dishcloth
  • crocheted blanket started with great ambition
  • one finished man's glove, cast on the second one on the weekend
  • many cut-out pieces of fabric for various sewing patterns
  • some cross-stitch patterns I started several years ago and one which was given to me which I'd like to finish

Ambitious but perfect for those dark winter evenings!
